Andover Sportsmen’s Club’s 74th Annual Kids Fishing Derby

Congratulations to the largest fish winners, Westley, Sara, & Luke, and to the smallest fish winner, Jordan!

We had beautiful weather this year for the Club’s 74th Annual Kids Fishing Derby at Sudden Pond on May 16th! We had 61 anglers, great food, and some nice prizes....

The catch was modest this year, but the kids caught more trout this year than last (the hornpout took the day off). The largest fish was 11 ¼” and the smallest was 2”.  Our youngest angler was 1 ½ - nice job, Henry! We’ll have more photos on display at the clubhouse, so stop by to check them out.

None of this would have been possible without the help of our great volunteers: Anthony, Bill, Bob, Donna, George, Jim, Jimmy, Jonathan, Josh, Leo, Mia, Mike, Phil, Timm, Varis, and William. Thank you so much for making the day a wonderful success!
