Become a Member

As you can see from our website, we offer something for everyone. We have a friendly, helpful group of members who are more than willing to help you in your area(s) of interest, whether it is archery, trap/skeet, pistol or rifle. We offer and sponsor various youth programs, training opportunities and are proud of our community involvement.

Prospective members that are interested in a tour of the facilities should email the Membership Director at membership@andoversportsmensclub.org to schedule. Please be sure to add our email to your contacts so the reply does not go to spam.  If you have questions, please email us, and we will get back to you with an answer. We look forward to seeing you.

Upon submission of (1) a fully completed application (including your signature on the application and waiver as well as your Sponsor's signature), (2) copies of the front AND back of your driver's license, (3) copies of the front AND back of your firearms licenses - LTC or FID, (4) if you were born outside of the the United States a copy of your U.S. Passport Photo Page, and (5) the application fee, you will be assigned a date to join the club and the Treasurer will send you a payment confirmation. Your application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and recommended to the membership on your assigned join date.  For planning purposes join dates will typically be the second Thursday of each month.   

 Once you become a member, you are required to attend an "orientation" session to get your key card.  The Orientation session will be mentioned at the meeting; however, for planning purposes it will likely be on the following Saturday at 8:00am in either the clubhouse or the Indoor Archery Building.  Please plan accordingly.

We have a fixed, one-time entrance fee of $250. Our yearly dues are $130, and they are pro-rated depending on the month that you are joining (see below). Annual dues are paid in advance by December 31st.  Commensing each September members are billed for their then upcomming dues.  

  • January through August: $250 entrance fee, and $130 in dues for a total of $380
  • September: $250 entrance fee, $43 in pro-rated dues, plus dues for next year ($130) for a total of $423
  • October: $250 entrance fee, $33 in pro-rated dues, plus dues for next year ($130) for a total of $413
  • November: $250 entrance fee, $22 in pro-rated dues, plus dues for next year ($130) for a total of $402
  • December: $250 entrance fee, $11 in pro-rated dues, plus dues for next year ($130) for a total of $391

Please completely and legibly fill-out, execute and submit an application package which must consist of:

  1. The two page application with your signature and your sponsor's signature
  2. The release waiver with your signature.
  3. A copy of the front AND back of your LTC or FID card
  4. A copy of the front AND back of your Driver's license
  5. If your were born outside of the United States, please include a copy of your U.S. Passport Photo Page.
  6. A check or online paid receipt for the above referenced amount. Note: amounts applicable to September thru December include the entrance fee plus discounted current year dues, plus dues for next year.

If you pay on-line, you are welcome to submit the application package by mail to the address above.  Please include a copy of your on-line receipt.  Alternatively, you are welcome to scan your complete application package including the paid receipt and email it to membership@andoversportsmensclub.org.

Be certain to fill the forms out completely and legibly, and include all required documents. If the forms are not legible or clearly printed, incomplete, or missing any of the required items, it will be rejected, and you will need to resubmit it.

The next Join Date is May 14, 2026.  Demand for membership is significant and applicants are scheduled for acceptance on a first come, first served basis. Typically a join date is closed and a new date is started upon the earlier of 40 applicants or 30 days prior to the then upcoming member's meeting.  For practical purposes, we limit the number of applicants accepted each month while keeping the wait time to join under 90 days.
