ASC Top Shot Competition

On Saturday, June 6th at 8:30am, the Andover Sportsmen's Club is hosting a Top Shot Competition (for members and their families only). We hope this event will become a new tradition at the Club.

This competition will be a lot of fun and during this exciting event you will compete in 4 different shooting sports:  Archery, Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun. This is a true test of a person's skill and not how good their firearm/bow is. To this end, everyone will use the same bow/firearm type to shoot the best score possible in the allowed time (contestants will be allowed to take practice shots before their scoring shots).

This is an informal, fun competition. You do NOT have to be a great shot in all the disciplines to enjoy it and even win one of several prizes.

Prizes (award values are based upon 40 competitors):

• 1st place: $500
• 2nd place: $200
• 3rd place $100

In the event of a tie in overall points, there will be a tie breaker event that will be a surprise.

Itinerary:

• Breakfast available from 7:30 to 8:30am
• Safety briefing at 8:30am at the Clubhouse
• Shooting will begin at 9am
• Lunch provided by Middleton House of Pizza!

What to Bring:

• Everyone will shoot the same guns and bows, so don't bring yours!
• Bows will be provided by the Club and ammunition and firearms will be provided by North Shore Firearms
• You must bring your own eye and ear protection!
