March Madness 100 Results

March 1st was a cold, but sunny Saturday morning. At 8:30am, the cars started rolling in and before we knew it we had 13 shooters for our 100 bird shoot. We classified all the shooters on past and present averages and we ended up with five class "A" shooters and eight class "B" shooters.

Each class was competing among themselves for the prize money in their class. After the squads were made up and a brief safety and rules meeting, we were under way.

March Madness 100 Trap Shoot

We will be holding a March Madness 100 trap shoot on Saturday, March 1st. As the name suggests, you will shoot 100 birds in total (50 from the 16 yard line, and 50 from the 24 yard line) and the best score wins.

There will be two levels of competition, an "A" class and a "B" class. "A" will consist of shooters with an average of 19 or higher, and "B" will be shooters with an average below 19.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the first place shooter in each class, and another will be awarded to a lucky winner in each class. This will be done by drawing a random number at the end of shooting, and awarding that place a cash prize.

We will be posting an average score sheet on the trap shelter bulletin board this weekend, so please start writing down your scores. Please sign up so we know how many we will have. There is no limit on shooters, so everyone can play!
