Dear members,  The deadline for renewal of your 2018 dues has expired.   If you did not renew your membership for 2018 your club access key is void and any accrued membership benefits are lost.  Please return your badge & card key to:

You may re-join the club as a new member, i.e. complete a new application, with copies of your LTC and driver's license and the payment of the $380 application fee – you will be assigned a “Join date” on a first come first serve basis. 

Should there be extenuating circumstances which prevented you from paying your 2018 dues by 12/31/17, there is a 30 day period, ending 1/31/18, for which you may appeal your membership termination.  To do so, you MUST (1) first pay the 2018 dues of $130, (2) first pay the late fee of $30, ($160 may be paid online via this link)

and (3) submit, prior to 1/31/18 a written request for re-instatement explaining why you were unable to renew your membership on time.  Submit your written request for re-instatement to Treasurer@AndoverSportsmensClub.org (or the address above).    Your request for re-instatement will be brought before the Board of Director’s.   There is no guarantee that the Board of Director’s will accept your explanation.  If not accepted, your 2018 dues payment and late fee payment will be returned to you.

The nominating committee has been established. The committee is as follows: Phil Proto, Joe Viscione, & Micky Mutti.

This committee will collect and submit to the President the names of candidates for various offices to be filled by a majority vote of the members at the annual meeting held in December. To qualify for nomination, a nominee must be a member in good standing for a minimum of 12 months prior to nomination. Nominations shall be closed and presented to the President prior to completion of the report of the Nominating Committee at the regular meeting in November.

Please be advised that Erik Anderson has resigned as a member of the ASC BOD. I thank Erik for his efforts during his tenure as Director, Trap Operations.

Accordingly, I will act as Interim Trap Director. My focus will be on providing all possible assistance to  those that have been working extremely hard for so long on numerous club facility projects. Near term future facilities efforts will be concentrated on completing the second trap range; weather, sub contractor scheduling and other constraints notwithstanding.

Mike Pasco, Membership Director, has kindly agreed to assist me during this interim period by assuming the responsibility for arranging and coordinating all Trap Special Events.

Every year, the Methuen Rod and Gun Club invites 1 team from each of the clubs in the area to compete in a winner take all trap tournament. It gives me great pleasure to announce the Andover Sportsmens' Club finished first. The team of Mark "MO" O'Keefe, Angelo Varvounis, Mike Pasco, Tony Capone and Richard Bruce edged out the other teams by 1 bird. Great job guys!! There will be a trophy presentation at a future membership meeting.
