New Board and Officer Positions

For separate and personal reasons two members of the Board of Directors, specifically, Mike Pasco (Secretary) and Stephen Pasco (Community Relations) recently tendered their resignations.  They are continuing as active club members to the extent their respective schedules will permit them to do so. We wish them well.  We thank them for their exemplary service to the Andover Sportsmen's Club and we look forward to a time when they may again be able to participate in leadership roles.  Accordingly, I also ask that you welcome two new Board Members: Lee Anne Webb as Secretary, and Doug Cooper, as Director of Community Relations.

Respectfully,

Dick Reichter, President

May Community Relationships Report

The May meeting had John Ratka, director of the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center, speak. John gave a brief outline of the work that the center does for our veterans.

Andover is once again having an Andover day to be held on September 8th. The club will be having a table. Last year we were very well received.

This year, due to the number of scholarship applicants the club is giving out 6 scholarships. This is in addition to the 4 that we give to local schools. The recipients are:

  • Natalie S.
  • Sarah S.
  • Christa F.
  • Elliot B.
  • Anthony C.
  • Ryan R.

All of the recipients have been invited to the June 14th membership meeting.
