Battleship Shootout Rules

• Members will provide their own pistols, ammunition, hearing and eye protection
• No alibis for firearm malfunctions
• Any Club approved caliber can be used
• No restrictions on type of sight
• Targets set at 10’ from firing line
• 60 second time limit
• A total of 20 rounds will be fired
• Scored hits must break the red circle
• All Red circles must be hit to sink a ship
• We will try to have as many rounds as time and target supplies permit
• At the end of the event, and in the event of a tie, a shootout will be held
• Upon completion of each stage: (1) A range clear will be called, (2) Pistols will be secured and (3)  Targets will be reset.

On Saturday, April 9 from 12:00pm - 2:00 pm, the Andover Sportsmen’s Club will be hosting a Children’s Easter Party

This class is sponsored by the Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. Among the many topics to be covered will be the safe handling of sporting firearms, ammunition, hunting laws, wildlife identification and basic survival skills. It is open to members and non members.

The Class Date is April 29th, 8am to 5pm.

Trap field #2 will be closed from 10am to 3pm

The Rifle range will be closed for the Andover Police department to train on Monday Feb 20'th from 9 - 12.

The indoor archery range will be closed this Saturday February 18th from 10:00 - 12:00.  We’re having a special session for the archers traveling to Nationals.
