Congratulations to those ladies that successfully completed the USCCA Women's Handgun & Self Defense Fundamentals course!  

This was a challenging 3-part course hosted by Virginia Colton on Ladies Night, taught by Allan Arena (USCCA & NRA Instructor), and very ably assisted by Dave Brown (NRA Instructor).

This Is A Non Firearms Based Course

Safety experts agree the single most important step to ensuring your personal safety is making the conscious decision to Refuse To Be A Victim®. You stand a much better chance of preventing criminal attack if you develop a safety plan before you need it. That is why the Refuse To Be A Victim® crime prevention seminar was developed.

This NRA program teaches easy to understand methods you can use to increase awareness and prevent criminal confrontation. In this 4 hour class you will get the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy, including information about:

  • Psychology of criminal predators
  • Mental preparedness
  • Home security
  • Physical Security
  • Automobile security
  • Out-of-town travel security
  • Self Defense physical training
  • Personal protection devices

This class will be taught by NRA certified instructors.

Class is open to:

ASC club members and family ONLY (club member must accompany a family member to the class)
18 years and older

Trauma Training - Stop the Bleed

Trauma and First Aid training.

The presentation may contain graphic slides.

This class is being taught by a Boston Paramedic with an emphasis on trauma. We will learn about the proper use or tourniquet therapy. We will learn how to apply a tourniquet on a bleeding simulator.

The Paramedic will make recommendation about our first aid kits and are there to answer all questions you may have regarding first aid and trauma.
