Pepper Spray: Alternative to Carry

November 12th                         

9am – 11 am in the main clubhouse

This two (2) hour Pepper Spray class will cover:

  • Differences in Pepper Sprays
  • How to use verbal commands & simple self-defense techniques
  • Effectively and responsibly deploy all types of Pepper Spray
  • Escape an attacker

You will become proficient and accurate with your pepper spray by deploying water-filled practice sprays at static targets as well as deploying the Practice Spray at your instructor during a simulated attack.

This Is A Non Firearms Based Course

Safety experts agree the single most important step to ensuring your personal safety is making the conscious decision to Refuse To Be A Victim®. You stand a much better chance of preventing criminal attack if you develop a safety plan before you need it. That is why the Refuse To Be A Victim® crime prevention seminar was developed.

This NRA program teaches easy to understand methods you can use to increase awareness and prevent criminal confrontation. In this 4 hour class you will get the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy, including information about:

  • Psychology of criminal predators
  • Mental preparedness
  • Home security
  • Physical Security
  • Automobile security
  • Out-of-town travel security
  • Self Defense physical training
  • Personal protection devices

This class will be taught by NRA certified instructors.

Class is open to:

ASC club members and family ONLY (club member must accompany a family member to the class)
18 years and older

NRA Certified RSO Training

The next Range Safety Officer (RSO) NRA Certified class will be held June 18th.  You must be age 21 or older to register.  Cost of the course is $75.00 person.  This class is limited to 10 members.
