Youth Program
This class will introduce young people to safe fire arms use and handling. Students will learn how to safely load, unload, and fire a firearm. There will be strong emphasis on safety best practices throughout. It will begin upstairs in the classroom setting, and will finish in the indoor range where each student will have a hands on opportunity to shoot. The class is for current Andover Sportsmen's Club members only. At completion of the course, children will receive a certificate and range badge.
A parent MUST attend the ENTIRE class with their children, and will be required to sign a liability waiver at the beginning of the class.competition
Firearms and ammunition (.22-caliber, single-shot rifle) will be provided by the club. Parents should bring eye and ear protection for themselves and students, if possible.
You must sign your student up in advance. To view available dates and register for this class, please check the calendar.
