Brass Shells Salvage Program

If you re-load ammunition and want to retrieve brass shells from the range buckets, we ask that you pick through our range buckets of brass, as opposed to taking the whole bucket of brass.  By picking through the buckets, this affords other members the same opportunity.

The Club collects the bulk of the brass from outdoor ranges on a regular basis and processes it to be sold locally at the highest recycling price.

The proceeds from the sale of the brass are deposited into the club’s Capital Improvement Fund for club-wide projects.

Thank you.

Bob Cuozzo, Outdoor Range Director

Notice of Updates to the Club and Range Rules

Club and Range Rules changes effective 3/6/2026

The following three (3) rules previously published on 06/05/2025 have been changed by the Board of Directors.

1.11   Club-wide Rule:  TARGETS.  Only paper targets mounted on Club supplied frames may be fired at with rifles and handguns, except for shooting at Club provided steel targets at the Outdoor Ranges.  Only paper targets or clay pigeons may be fired at with shotguns. Plinking (shooting at cans, rocks, glass bottles, etc.) is strictly prohibited.  The use of explosive targets is prohibited, except when used in a special Club event.  Silhouette targets, i.e. any target that looks like a person or a silhouette of a person or part of a silhouette of a person is prohibited and is a violation of Massachusetts law. The possession of a human form silhouette target on club property, except by public safety personnel performing in line with their official duties, is strictly prohibited.

5.05   Outdoor Pistol Range Building:  All Shooting must be conducted from the firing line. Ground shooting at any targets is not allowed. All firing must be aimed and all rounds must be shot towards the berm.

6.04   Outdoor Rifle/Pistol Range Building:  All shooting must be conducted from the firing line. All firing must be aimed and all rounds must be shot towards the berm.  Target frames are designed to hold one paper target centered in the frame. Ground shooting at any targets is not allowed. Use of a rifle or shotgun is PROHIBITED on the “Pistol Side” of the Rifle/Pistol Range except for .22LR rifle use. Only Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC's) can be used on the “Pistol Caliber Carbine Only” targets.

Please note: Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC's) are long guns, typically rifles but sometimes braced pistols, that chamber pistol cartridges instead of rifle cartridges. They offer a unique blend of handgun ammunition familiarity and carbine-style handling, bridging the gap between handguns and rifles.

A Letter from the President – January 2026

Dear Fellow Members,

As we begin a new year, I would like to wish each of you and your families a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

I am truly humbled and overwhelmed by the trust and support you showed during the December election. On behalf of myself and Vice President Bob Cochran, thank you for the confidence you have placed in us. We do not take that responsibility lightly, and we are committed to working hard every day to serve the membership and the future of our club.

Bob and I are ready to roll up our sleeves and get right to work on the commitments we made.

First, we will focus on starting projects with clear purpose and finishing them on time. Our club has an incredible amount of talent, dedicated volunteers, and strong resources. By adding more structure, planning, and follow-through, we can accomplish more and continue improving our grounds and facilities efficiently and responsibly.

Second, we will work to improve the overall appearance and landscaping of our property. We are fortunate to have a beautiful facility, and with some focused effort, we can make it even more welcoming—for longtime members and first-time visitors alike.

Third, transparency and communication will be a priority. We will communicate more frequently with the membership about ongoing projects, what’s happening around the club, and how we are doing fiscally. An informed membership is a strong membership.

Fourth, we will continue to support the organizations that defend our Second Amendment rights, including groups such as the NRA, GOAL, and the Civil Rights Coalition. These organizations stand up for us, and it is important that we continue to stand with them.

Most importantly, we will keep this club moving forward while protecting the traditions and values that brought us here. Our goal is to build a club we are all proud of—one that runs smoothly, communicates clearly, respects its history, and continues to grow.

Thank you again for your trust and support. I look forward to working with Bob, the Board, our volunteers, and all of you as we make 2026 a successful year for our club.

Respectfully,

Mike Pasco - President
