3D Archery Shoot

Come join us for an Archery shoot on the 3D course May 4,2024.  The shoot is open for members and a guest.

  • No equipment will be provided so you will need to supply your own. Recurve, long bow or compound bows allowed, crossbows are prohibited.  Check in starts at 8:30 a.m. then you can proceed to the shoot.  There will be 2-4 archers per group and scoring is on the honor system.  We will have two shooting stations per target to choose from and yardages will not be disclosed, no range finders can be used.
  • We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place bragging rights.  Hamburgers, hotdogs chips and drinks will be proved at the conclusion of the shoot.
  • You need to sign up for the shoot on eventbrite to reserve your spot. RSVP Here
  • We are expecting a good turnout and a great time for everyone.
  • Scoring will be explained at check in.

Deep Sea Fishing Trip with Connemara Bay Fishing Charters LLC (“CB Charters”) from Gloucester Harbor. CB Charters specializes in inshore: sight-seeing cruises, Stripe Bass and Blue fishing, lobster trap hauling and clambakes and offshore: whale watching, Cod and Haddock deep sea fishing, Tuna and Shark Big Game Fishing.

Annual Children’s Christmas Party

Andover Sportsmen’s Club’s hosts an Annual Children’s Christmas Party on as Sunday in Decemberin the Clubhouse. Members may bring their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews ages 10 and younger. Santa’s Elves ask that all children be accompanied by an adult and bring a wrapped gift with the child’s full name on the tag as Santa will be handing out the gifts to each child. There will be activities and crafts for children as well as refreshments!  We encourage our members to bring their families to the club for this wonderful annual event. We hope to see you there!

July 4th Weekend Tailgate Cookout and Fireworks Show

The Andover Sportsmen's Club hosts "Tailgate cookout and BBQ" from 5pm to 8pm on the day of the fireworks show.  The Fireworks Show will start at  9:00pm. All ranges will be closed at 4:00pm. The viewing area includes the Trap shelters and the main parking lot and the Archery practice field. Restrooms are available in the clubhouse.  This event is not for the public. It's potluck format; we provide hot dogs and hamburgers and some sides. You just need to bring yourself, your family, and one of your favorite side dishes or desserts.

Trauma Training - Stop the Bleed

Trauma and First Aid training.

The presentation may contain graphic slides.

This class is being taught by a Boston Paramedic with an emphasis on trauma. We will learn about the proper use or tourniquet therapy. We will learn how to apply a tourniquet on a bleeding simulator.

The Paramedic will make recommendation about our first aid kits and are there to answer all questions you may have regarding first aid and trauma.
