To All Regular & Prospective Members

As we start our summer hiatus, we are having a special membership meeting Sunday June 26th at 9am. This meeting should be complete by noon. We are going to vote in 108 new members to the club. The outdoor and indoor ranges will be closed for safety orientation until noon, while trap and archery will function as normal. The club is open for normal Sunday breakfast, there will be muffins, donuts and coffee for the new members meeting. I am asking the new members not to order cooked breakfast on this Sunday.

With this said, it will be a crowded morning. We will have members showing people where to park, please be patient if you get blocked in for a short time. Regular members are welcome to attend the special meeting, but after the vote, we will go directly into the classroom portion of Range Safety Orientation, then the groups will go with RSOs to each range for the practical part of the Safety Orientation.

I am asking the regular members to welcome our new members and offer any help they may need. Remember everyone was a new member at one time. Our main objective at ASC is safety.

2016 Top Shot Competition

2016 Top Shot Flyer

Please Note: All ranges will be closed for general use during this event!

On Saturday, June 4th at 8:30am, the Andover Sportsmen's Club is hosting our second Top Shot Competition (for 18+ members and their families only).

This competition will be a lot of fun and during this exciting event you will compete in 4 different shooting sports:  Archery, Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun. This is a true test of a person's skill and not how good their firearm/bow is. To this end, everyone will use the same bow/firearm type to shoot the best score possible in the allowed time (contestants will be allowed to take practice shots before their scoring shots).

This is an informal, fun competition. You do NOT have to be a great shot in all the disciplines to enjoy it and even win one of several prizes! The $30 entry fee gets you a shot at $800 in cash prizes (based on 40 shooters), and free breakfast from 730-830am.

PLEASE BRING EYE AND EAR PROTECTION ONLY! LEAVE THE GUNS AND BOW AT HOME, BECAUSE YOU WILL SHOOT THE SAME WEAPONS AND AMMO AS EVERYONE ELSE!

So if you think you have what it takes to be the club's Top-Shot, click on the link below to sign up. Space is limited so don't delay! Sign up at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/asc-top-shot-tickets-25333263473.
