2025 Massachusetts Junior Conservation Camp

The Massachusetts Junior Conservation Camp (MJCC) is a two-week program designed to teach teens various outdoor recreation skills. Andover Sportsmen’s Club will sponsor two campers this year (pay full camp tuition/$1150 Value). Tuition covers lodging expenses, food, and activities.

Camp Dates: August 3–15, 2025
Camp Location: Moses Scout Reservation, 310 Birch Hill Avenue, Russell MA.

Campers are expected to attend the entire session in order to receive any certificates earned during the program. Campers must be between 13 to 17 in age on the first day of camp and related to a member in good standing.

The MJCC is operated by Massachusetts Junior Conservation Camp Inc. Campers learn a variety of outdoor skills, including fishing, hunting, shooting sports, archery, boating, and camping. The camp also aims to educate campers about conservation of natural resources and responsible use of the environment.

The facility offers two-person tents with cots atop a raised platform, modern dining hall and a fully equipped medical lodge. Certified life guards and medical personnel are on staff. All instructors are certified in their respective fields.

Please submit names and birthdates by April 15, 2025, along with the sponsoring member’s name and badge number to Nancy LeTourneau, Community Relations Director, at Community@AndoverSportsmensClub.org. In the event that there are more than two submissions, a drawing will be conducted.
