Results: The Club’s 73rd Annual Kids Fishing Derby at Sudden Pond

Congratulations to the largest fish winners, Colin, Marcus, & Leo, and to the smallest fish winner, Lily!

The weather held out this year for the Club’s 73rd Annual Kids Fishing Derby at Sudden Pond on May 17th! We had 49 young anglers, great food, and some nice prizes. We were serenaded by a large bullfrog for most of the morning, until he was caught (and kissed!) and then released back to the pond. Our youngest angler was 1 ½ years old – congratulations Evelyn! None of this would have been possible without the help of our great volunteers: Bill Dolan, Bob Cochran, Donna Tobin, Doug Cooper, George Cordima, Jim LeTourneau, Jonathan Belinowiz, Rory Johnson, and William Coburn. Thank you so much for making the day a wonderful success!
