Andover Sportsmen's Club

Dear members,

Hope you can make it down to the club to see all that is going on.  We are in the midst of some new construction – Archery has expanded the range, Trap is in the process of adding a second field, and Outdoor is most of the way thru adding a new pistol range.  Looking forward to seeing the new improvements up and running.

As usual all ASC operations are continuing to function.

Effective March 7, 2016 ANY APPLICATION received after this date will be for a special membership meeting that Andover Sportsmen's Club will hold on JUNE 26, 2016 at 9am. Due to the high volume of applications being submitted, we are doing this special meeting to vote in new members before the summer hiatus where we do not hold meetings during July and August.  The CUT OFF DATE THAT YOUR APPLICATION MUST BE RECEIVED IS JUNE 9th. At this meeting, you will be voted in and directly after the meeting you will be split into smaller groups and receive your Range Safety Orientation.

Any other applications received after June 9th, 2016 will be held for the September membership meeting.  Once September is full, applications will be rolled over to October, November and December.

Please read the March Director's Update for Membership on the website and this will explain why we are limiting new members to approximately 20 per regular membership meeting.  If you have ANY questions, please email membership@andoversportsmensclub and I will be glad to help you.

Dear members,

Here we are, officially spring has sprung, but I shoveled about 4” of it this week! With any luck relief is “just around the corner”.

I’m happy to report that  all ASC operations are continuing including the re-development of the club grounds – trap, archery and outdoor range.  We still are seeing a steady increase in the number of members that enjoy breakfast at the club on Sunday, and an increase in the number of members that enjoy our mid-week poker break.
