New Board and Officer Positions

For separate and personal reasons two members of the Board of Directors, specifically, Mike Pasco (Secretary) and Stephen Pasco (Community Relations) recently tendered their resignations.  They are continuing as active club members to the extent their respective schedules will permit them to do so. We wish them well.  We thank them for their exemplary service to the Andover Sportsmen's Club and we look forward to a time when they may again be able to participate in leadership roles.  Accordingly, I also ask that you welcome two new Board Members: Lee Anne Webb as Secretary, and Doug Cooper, as Director of Community Relations.

This year, due to the number of scholarship applicants the club is giving out 6 scholarships. This is in addition to the 4 that we give to local schools. The recipients are:

  • Natalie S.
  • Sarah S.
  • Christa F.
  • Elliot B.
  • Anthony C.
  • Ryan R.

All of the recipients have been invited to the June 14th membership meeting.

The camp runs for 2 weeks in August 5th-17th, and is held at the Horace Moses Boy Scout Reservation in Russel, MA. The facility offers two-person tents with cots atop a raised platform, modern dining hall and a fully equipped medical lodge. Certified life guards and medical personnel are on staff. All instructors are certified in their respective fields. Any questions about the program please call 508-450-5120.

Please submit applications (a note) to the club by April 1,2018. In the event that we have more than 2 applicants, we will have a drawing at the April members meeting.
