The Club provides training facilities for local law enforcement.  Specifically:

Each year the Club provides Scholarships to Club Member's Families as well as the local community.  

NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting

This is a full-day NRA-certified Shotgun Class and includes classroom and range time. Students that successfully complete the class will receive an NRA Certificate of completion.

The purpose of this class is to teach the Knowledge , Skill and Attitude to shoot a moving target with a shotgun. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. All class materials, shotguns and ammunition will be provided.

Class will be taught on Saturday starting at 8am and will conclude around 5pm. People attending the class need to make arrangements for their own lunch. Please bring eyes and ear protection, limited supplies will be available for those that do not have them.

Class is limited to 10 participants with a minimum of 5.

We ask only that you bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

NRA Basic Pistol - Massachusetts LTC Class

  • Massachusetts approved firearm safety courses for handgun permits and Firearm Identification cards.
  • This NRA Basic Pistol course is a full 9-hour class, including 1 full hour on MA gun law as required by the MA State Police.
  • Both NRA and MA certificates are issued.
  • Instructors are certified by the NRA and State of MA.
  • Lunch will be provided. 
  • Pre-registration on this site is required and the class size is strictly limited to10 students.  
  • Students must be at least 21 years old to apply for the Mass LTC
