2024 Spring Work Party

We will be having our 2024 Spring Work Party on May 25th!

Breakfast is from 8am to 9am (free), work starts at 9am, we break for lunch at noon (also free), we finish up jobs after lunch and are generally done by 3pm. All ranges are closed until 3pm.

There will be eight $25 drawings at lunch awarded to those in attendance.

People are needed for all typical work party projects, including:

  • Cleaning kitchen
  • Cleaning windows
  • Field clean up at outdoor range
  • Field clean up at Trap range including hanging nets, picking up "whole" clays, etc.
  • Path clean up at Archery
  • Use of club backpack blower to clean walkways, drive, etc.
  • Power washing: parking lot stains, concrete stains, kitchen exhaust ducts, etc.
  • Wood cutting, splitting, stacking
  • Your insight, advice, suggestions are welcomed even if you don't want to do some of the heavy "lifting"

Tools needed:

  • Power washing equipment (ideally gasoline powered)
  • Containers of gasoline
  • Rakes, shovels, brooms, leaf blowers
  • Any other useful tools

Children's Christmas Party

Andover Sportsmen’s Club’s Annual Children’s Christmas Party

Sunday December 8

2:00pm - 4:00pm

 

ASC is hosting its Annual Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, December 8th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Clubhouse.

Members may bring their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews ages 10 and younger. Santa’s Elves ask that all children be accompanied by an adult and bring a wrapped gift with the child’s full name on the tag as Santa will be handing out the gifts to each child.

There will be activities and crafts for children, a face painter, and refreshments!

We encourage our members to bring their families to the club for this wonderful annual event. We hope to see you there!

Please note that All club ranges will be closed from 1:00pm until 4:30pm

Annual Potluck Pig Roast (All Ranges Closed for Event)

Potluck Pig Roast

For members, their families and guests

  • Saturday, September 28th 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
  • Billiards tournament 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.  Signups will begin at 9:30 am.
  • The pig will start cooking at approximately 6am.
  • The feast should start at approximately 1:00 pm. 
  • It's potluck format; we provide the pig and some sides.
  • You just need to bring yourself, your family, and one of your favorite side dishes or desserts.
  • All ranges will be closed until 3pm.

Tailgate Cookout and BBQ

The Andover Sportsmen's Club is hosting "Tailgate cookout and BBQ" from 4pm to 10pm on Friday, June 28th.  The Fireworks Show will start at  9:00pm. All ranges will be closed at 4:00pm. The viewing area includes the Trap shelters and the main parking lot and the Archery practice field. Restrooms are available in the clubhouse.  This event is not for the public. It's potluck format; we provide hot dogs and hamburgers and some sides. You just need to bring yourself, your family, and one of your favorite side dishes or desserts.
