Archery Bridge Replacement

On Saturday, May 26th, we removed an old rotted bridge on one of our archery trails and replaced it with a newly constructed bridge spanning 24 feet. This bridge is an important part of this trail, as it allows Archers the ability to shoot our middle trail “Boggy Pass” in its entirety. I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to the ones responsible: Peter Turko, Gene Lawson, Alexander Beals and Richie Greenlaw.

Basic Boating Safety Course

The Andover Sportsmen's Club will be hosting a "Basic Boating Safety Course".

The course is run by the Massachusetts Environmental Police. The course is free and open to the public.

The course will be held for 4 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM. The dates are June 5, 12, 19 and 26. You must attend all classes.

Ken Hartman

It is with deep regret and sorrow that I must inform the ASC membership that one of our most highly regarded long serving members, Ken Hartman, died yesterday of a heart attack.

The family has informed us that there will not be a public service.  However, if you wish to send his wife, Barbara, your condolences her address is: 8 Moran Drive, Lynnfield, MA  01940.

Special Membership Meeting

All ASC members are hereby advised that, consistent with ASC By-Laws, a Special Membership Meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, June 24, 2018 for the sole purpose of considering the admission of new applicants to the ASC membership.

This Special Membership Meeting is in addition to the Regularly Scheduled membership meeting that will take place on June 14, 2018.
