Indoor Archery League Informational Meeting

Attention to any and all Archers !! 

 
We are making plans for an Indoor Archery league and will be offering an informational session to discuss the proposed format and gauge interest and feedback from the membership.
 
The informational session will take place February 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. upstairs in the clubhouse.
 
Topics to be covered will consist of:
League Format
Number of weeks
Number of sessions per week/session leadership, days and times
Handicapping vs straight scoring
Reporting of scores
Categories related to bow type
 
There are no restrictions to the type of bow you can use, whatever style you shoot is fine.  
 
We are looking forward to kicking this Winter League off and having your participation.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be limited spots available, so if you are interested please plan on attending the meeting.

Indoor Archery Closed for Youth Archery Safety

Training is excited to announce our new YOUTH ARCHERY SAFETY program.
This course will introduce the youth to the basics of shooting archery safely.
Class will be held at the indoor archery range on Dec19th from 10am - 12:00.

A Calling drive to expand the use of crossbows for hunting

Dear Members:

The Andover Sportsmen's Club is a member of the League of Essex County Sportsmen'sClubs, which was established to (a) promote a cooperative program for protection, propagation and restoration of forests, fish, and game, (b) promote and establish more cordial relations between sportsmen and landowners, (c) cooperate and assist in the enforcement of the game laws and (d) promote, protect and perpetuate PUBLIC hunting, fishing and trapping in this Commonwealth.
