2021 Trap Champions

On Saturday, October 23rd, the Andover Sportsmen’s Club Held it’s Annual Trap Club Championship.  In the “A” Division, Mike Pasco took First Place with a score of 151.  Adam Karas was a close Second with 148 and Mark O’keefe taking Third with 146.

In the “B” Division, Peter Usalis took First Place with a score of 117 beating Andrew Silvestro in a shootout who also scored 117. John Savarino finished in Third Place with 114.

2021 Fall Work Party - All Ranges closed till at least 3pm

Fall Work Party  -  We need your Help!

Breakfast  is from 7:00am to 9:00am (no charge), Work starts at 9:00am, we break for lunch at noon (No charge), we finish up jobs after lunch and are generally done by 3pm.    There will be a eight(8) $25 drawings at lunch awarded to those in attendance.  Some ranges may remained closed after 3pm until all work party efforts have been completed.

Beginner's Trap

Beginner Instructional Trap from 6pm till 8pm Monday nights!  - See Calender

This slower paced class is intended for less experienced trap shooters who have taken our “Intro to Trap”, or our “Intro to Shotgun” class or have experience with their own shotgun but may feel overwhelmed by the fast pace or the mass crowds of the regular trap days.

Saturday, October 23,  2021

9:00AM

  • $25.00 Entry Fee, No punch.
  • 100 Rounds (50) 16yds, (25) 20yds, (25) 24yds.
  • Ties will be determined by a 10 round shoot off from 27yds and then first miss after that.
  • First Prize $100.00
  • Second Prize (2) Trap Cards
  • Third Prize (1) Trap Card
  • Each shooter will receive one (1) point for every broken bird from the 16, two (2) points from the 20 and three (3) points from the 24 yard line.  The shooter with the most points will determine the winner.

There will be two classes.  Class A (21-25 Average) and Class B (20 and Lower).  Please declare your Class and the Tournament Committee will decide if you are sandbagging it or not. If you are a “B” shooter and declare as an “A”, then you will only be shooting against Class A.  Arrive at 8:30AM to check in.

American Legion Ceremonial Maneuvers

The American Legion supports disabled veterans, military families in need and local communities with a devotion towards mutual helpfulness.  The American Legion has more than 12,000 posts in communities throughout the United States. The American Legion  will be using trap field #2 to practice their ceremonial maneuvers between 9am and 11am on August 3rd and 11th and on September 7th and 15th.
